For this project, I was asked to create a series of stamps inspired by an under represented population or event. I chose holidays that are celebrated in the U.S. but originate from other cultures and countries and focused on the Chinese New Year. I wanted to emphasize design motifs and symbols from the celebration of the holiday in a monochromatic series. This stamp series received honorable mention in the 2022 Graphis Competition.
